IBC totes in
Houston

Houston is where the totes come from. The petrochemical corridor generates more used IBCs than anywhere else in the state, and a large share of our intake arrives on a truck coming back from the ship channel.

Postal code and quantity get you a delivered number rather than a yard price plus a shrug about freight.

The short answer

We serve Houston and the surrounding petrochemical corridor in both directions: delivering reconditioned and new containers into blending and distribution operations, and collecting used totes in volume from the ship channel, Pasadena, Baytown, Deer Park and La Porte. Delivery runs two to four business days; high-volume collections are scheduled weekly.

  • Two to four business days for delivery from Austin
  • Weekly scheduled collection runs into the ship channel area
  • Volume buy-back — this corridor is our single largest intake source
  • SDS review on every chemical-history load before we commit

The floorRoughly forty thousand containers pass through the yard each year. Around 83 % leave as containers.

Working with chemical-history containers

Houston loads come with more paperwork than anywhere else we operate, and that is exactly as it should be. Before we commit to a collection we ask for safety data sheets on the prior contents, and we will decline containers whose residue we cannot safely process or whose history is genuinely unknown.

  • SDS review before commitment, every time, on every chemical load.
  • Containers that held listed hazardous waste go to a licensed hauler, not to us. We will name one.
  • Certificate of destruction available for branded containers you do not want reappearing.
  • Volume pricing bands from 20 units up, with scheduled recurring collection above 100 a quarter.

Coverage

Houston proper, plus Pasadena, Deer Park, La Porte, Baytown, Channelview, Texas City, Galena Park, Sugar Land, Katy, Conroe and The Woodlands. Beaumont, Port Arthur and Orange are covered on the Gulf Coast corridor schedule.

Intake, ungradedArrivals before grading. Staining is cosmetic; a crease in the sidewall is not, and that is what we look for.

?Common questions

Questions people actually ask

Do you buy in volume from the ship channel?

Constantly. It is our largest single intake source and we run scheduled collections. Send a count, a ZIP and the SDS list and we will price it the same day.

Can you handle containers that held regulated products?

Depends entirely on the product. Send the SDS. There are things we will process happily, things we will take only for destruction, and things that need a licensed hazardous waste hauler. We will tell you which within an hour of seeing the sheet.

How long is delivery into Houston?

Two to four business days on the schedule. We run the corridor weekly at minimum, more often in the busy months.

We run a single well-stocked yard rather than several thin ones. It means you are always buying from the row we actually graded, and it means the person who answers your email can walk out and look at the container.

Yard hours: Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, Friday 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM. Gates close thirty minutes before the office.
