What we have deliberately built in

• Everything works without JavaScript. The slide-out menu and the fullscreen quote overlay are driven by native form controls and CSS rather than scripting. The quote form is a plain HTML form that posts to the server, sends your enquiry and redirects to a confirmation page. Scripting only makes those things smoother.
• Keyboard throughout. A skip link to the main content, visible focus rings on every interactive element, Escape closes both overlays, and the menu and quote controls sit in the natural tab order.
• Semantic structure. One H1 per page, a real heading hierarchy, landmark regions, breadcrumb navigation, and <details> elements for accordions so they expand natively.
• Contrast. The two-colour palette was chosen against WCAG contrast requirements. Body text on the dark background exceeds 12:1, and the acid-lime accent is never used for small text on light backgrounds.
• Motion. Every animation on the site is disabled under prefers-reduced-motion, including the scroll reveals and the ticker.
• Zoom and reflow. The layout is fluid to 400 % zoom without horizontal scrolling. Wide tables scroll inside their own container rather than pushing the page sideways.
• Forms. Every field has a persistent visible label, not a placeholder standing in for one. Required fields are marked in text as well as by colour. Errors are announced to assistive technology.

What we know is not right yet

• The Tote Builder configurator requires JavaScript to update live. The quote form beneath it does not, so nobody is prevented from contacting us — but the configurator itself is currently unusable without scripting, and we would like to fix that.
• The Reclaim Engine calculator has the same limitation. The underlying factor tables are published as static tables on the same page precisely so the information is available either way.
• The technical illustrations are decorative SVG with alternative text describing what they depict. A blind user gets the description, not the drawing. Where an illustration carries real information — dimensions, for instance — the same numbers appear in a table nearby.
• The horizontal ticker strip moves automatically. It pauses on hover and stops entirely under reduced-motion, but it has no explicit pause control, which we intend to add.

How we test

Keyboard-only navigation of every page. VoiceOver on macOS and Safari. Firefox with JavaScript disabled. 400 % browser zoom. Automated contrast and structure checks on every build. None of that substitutes for being told by a real user that something does not work, which is why the email address above is the most important line on this page.
